About The Program &
Melissa Roxas
I’m a mom, a poet, a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and energy healer. I’m the owner of Little Sage Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine Clinic. I’m a 1.5-generation Filipina immigrant, a human rights advocate and a survivor of abduction and torture.
My experience of trauma and healing led me to discover what I call the Little Sage in all of us—the indomitable spirit of the human soul, an inner knowing, a well of energy and power to heal your body.
I created the Radical Healing program for you to explore, learn and go deep into somatic and mind body practices, ancestral healing, body memory, trauma, intergenerational wounds, and what it means to reclaim wellness through a decolonized lens. One that looks honestly at how history, displacement, and systems of harm have shaped our bodies and our health, often in ways we've been taught to carry alone, or told are simply who we are. Because your suffering has a context. Generations of harm have been woven into our bodies, our families, our communities — not by accident, but by design. This space is where we start to unravel that together.
I have taken everything that I’ve learned through my lived experience and over 25 years of working as an activist and healing arts practitioner to create this program especially for BIPOC women.
Together, we listen to what your symptoms are trying to say and take steps toward healing, wholeness, and empowerment.
You deserve healing that is rooted, that is sacred, and that is yours. I would be honored to walk beside you on this path.

After doing the basic acupressure points for inflammation, the bump on the sole of my foot was significantly smaller.
I had a small bump in the sole of my left foot which I noticed for months now. Following what I learned from the course, I tried doing the basic acupressure points for inflammation each morning and evening for a few minutes and after two weeks I noticed that the bump became significantly smaller.
